Penny is as in-your-pocket as they come. She has the personality of a puppy and wants nothing more than some scratches and a treat. Will follow you around the pasture for hours and be your best friend for a pat. She has absolutely no mare-ish tendencies whatsoever and goes out in a co-ed herd. She is extremely curious and an expert at ground work!
Penny has been started under saddle since June 2025 and currently rides out in a hackamore or snaffle. She is currently refining her leg cues and will move hips and shoulders independently off the leg. Penny is VERY supple through the face and body. She has strong stop and backup. She is also working on vertical flexion and collection at the gaits. Penny willingly hops in and out of the trailer with minimal effort. She's been exposed to kids, cattle, obstacle courses, arenas, traffic, and trails. She is very athletic and excels with arena and flatwork style activities. Penny helped us represent the US Wild Horse and Burro Association at Equine Affaire this year and handled it like a champ! She handled the utter chaos and stress of the 4-day event without batting an eyelash. Everything from zooming golf carts, dogs, kids, PLASTIC BAGS, yelling, other horses, breed demos, stalling and more! Her training will continue to progress until a home is found.

Arrived at our facility on June 2025 and under training since. Axl (after Axl Rose - lead singer of ACDC, because of his luxurious long red hair!), is already showing his years of experience as a former wild stallion. He is calm, cool, and collected, and moves purposefully but with grace. He intently watches everything around him but does not overreact or explode.
Axl is fully halter-broke and has great ground manners. He knows approximately 15 ground-work exercises and was started W/T/C under saddle in early 2026. He rides out in a hackamore or single-jointed saddle. Has a strong western stop.
Axl has experience with traffic, kids, dogs, and farm equipment, and will be headed to some obstacle course work starting in April.
His training will continue to progress until a home is found.

Sierra arrived at our facility from holding on June 14th! She turned out to be much larger than the BLM had listed her! She has fabulous conformation and gives off all the quarter horse vibes! Does NOT look like a typical Mustang! She is extremely smart and her training is progressing very quickly.

Sierra has fantastic manners and impeccable groundwork skills through a suite of approximately 15 different groundwork exercises.
Sierra was started riding under saddle in fall 2025 and is currently riding out W/T/C in a hackamore and a snaffle. She has great leg cues for shoulder and is working on her sidepass. Can be ridden bridleless. She has a good back-up and a STRONG western stop entirely off of seat cues.
Sierra has not seen cattle but she has been introduced to the cutting flag. Has been trailered off the farm to clinics and ridden well with several horses she didn't know. Have also instructed lessens off her.
She also has experience with traffic, farm equipment, kids, dogs, and farm animals. Will self-load onto the trailer.
